The Balaji Telefilms show went on air on Zee Anmol from September 28, 2015 at 9.00 pm. ‘Bandini’ used to air on former Hindi GEC NDTV Imagine from 2009 to 2011.
Starring Ronit Roy, Asiya Kazi and Rasiya Joshi, ‘Bandini’ is the story of a young girl’s journey and the conflict she faces at the hands of destiny as she struggles to fight against the class and caste divide of society. ‘Bandini’ is set in rural India and traces the story of a poor but spirited girl, Santu (Aasiya Kazi), who lives in the village of Dharampur with her maternal grandfather, Madhav Solanki.
